Founder, DNP, CPNP, FAANP
Dr. Jennifer Salerno is a Nurse Practitioner with more than 20 years of experience in health care. She has practiced in busy primary care pediatric offices as well as in school-based health centers. It was in her former role as the Director of the School Based Health Center Program and the Adolescent Health Initiative at the University of Michigan, that she developed the Rapid Assessment for Adolescent Preventive Services (RAAPS) risk screening system.
Jennifer has served as an advisor on many national panels including the CDC HIV Guideline Development Project Panel and has been the recipient of the Society of Adolescent Health and Medicine, Hilary E.C. Millar Award for Innovative Approaches to Adolescent Health Care. Dr. Salerno earned her undergraduate nursing degree with honors from Michigan State University, Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Michigan, and Doctorate in Nursing Practice from Rush University.
Ted Dacko has more than 38 years of experience in executive-level management and leadership. Most recently, he was CEO of HealthMedia® Inc., which he took from a small technology company to a $30M annual SaaS business. Dacko has an extensive background with early stage technology companies, and was named the NEF Entrepreneur of the year in 2008. Prior to HealthMedia®, Dacko served as President and CEO at Centromine, an Internet-based behavioral health firm, headquartered in Ann Arbor, Michigan and Orion Micro Systems, which was based in Waterbury, Connecticut.
Over the past 35 years Michael Samuelson has lectured on leadership, health promotion, patient experience, health policy, disease prevention and the dynamics of behavior change. Samuelson’s distinguished professional resume includes successful entrepreneur, senior executive in the health insurance industry, CEO, university professor and US health policy advisor. His books, audio work and behavior change programs have been distributed to millions throughout the world and have been publicly endorsed by scientists, politicians, advocacy organizations, and business leaders.
